¶ 🖥️ Install Mods
¶ 1️⃣ Step 1: Download
Download the launcher from this link:
You will also find a VirusTotal link to ensure that no virus is present in our executable:
If you encounter issues with the launcher, make sure you have the .NET Framework version 8.0 (.NET Runtime 8.0). If in doubt, download it here:

After launching setup_fl.exe, follow the installer steps.
¶ 2️⃣ Step 2: Launch the Application
When launching the launcher, it will ask for Administrator privileges. This is to address certain issues with downloading and decompressing files for some users.
Note: STEAM must be running and connected to the internet when launching the launcher; otherwise, the following error will appear:
You will also need to insert the path to arma3battleye.exe.
This is usually located in the root directory of your Arma 3 installation:
C:/Steam/Steamapps/Common/Arma 3/arma3battleye.exe
If you enter the wrong path, an error will appear, and you will need to re-enter the correct path.
The launcher will now initialize the mods. It will check if they are already present and proceed with downloading if needed.
Once completed, you can proceed to the next step.
¶ 3️⃣ Step 3: Install Task Force Arrowhead Radio
Go to the @FishersLife_Client folder after downloading the mods via the Launcher.
This folder is located in the directory you specified when first launching the Launcher, where your Arma 3 is installed.
Then, go to the teamspeak folder and open the plugin.
This window will open. Make sure to close Teamspeak 3 beforehand!
After following the steps, launch Teamspeak and connect to ts3.fishers-life.com.
¶ 4️⃣ Step 4: Join the Server
Return to the launcher and click PLAY to join the game server.
¶ 🛣️ Other Use Cases
¶ ✅ Check Mods
After an update or an issue, you can manually check if your mods are up to date. Different options are available: either your mods are up to date and you can play, or missing/outdated mods will begin downloading automatically.
¶ ⌨️ Modify Settings
Click on the gear icon to access the Launcher settings. You can view the current version of the launcher or modify the Arma 3 path if the game has been moved to a new location.
¶ 🚧 Maintenance
The Launcher may occasionally enter maintenance mode. You won’t be able to access the server or download mods during this time. Please wait for the development team to finish their updates.
¶ 🚀 Updates
After maintenance, a new version of the Launcher might be available. If so, this message will appear:
Click OK and follow the steps.
The installer will open; follow the steps as you did during the initial installation.
¶ 🪲 Bugs
¶ ❓Value cannot be null. (Parameter 'path1')
- Close the launcher.
- Press Windows + R.
- Type %appdata% in the search bar.
- Go to the Fisher's Life LauncherV1 folder.
- Delete all contents of the folder.
- Restart the launcher.
