Food is an essential aspect of your survival. As you know, you normally need to craft your food or buy it from merchants.
However, we have implemented convenience stores that allow you to buy certain items in the absence of businesses or stock. The prices are, however, heavily inflated to encourage player interactions.
Note that you cannot die from not eating or drinking. You will only experience negative effects (blurry vision, inability to run, etc.).
