¶ 🆕 Creation
To create a business, please contact the Fishers Island Business Office and follow the procedure outlined below.
You need to have sufficient playtime on the server and prior experience as an employee before considering creating or buying a business. Business management gameplay is detailed and requires a minimum level of skill and knowledge.
Note: It is important for a business (and its owner) to provide engaging gameplay for employees (varied activities, growth opportunities, benefits, etc.). The ultimate goal of the server is not to be the richest or the most powerful but to experience a realistic alternative life.
¶ 👷♂️ Employee Management
¶ Recruitment
To recruit an employee, you must be in business service mode and have the necessary permissions (rank with recruitment rights).
Stand in front of the player you want to recruit, press the TAB key to access the interaction menu, and click on “RECRUIT.”
¶ Business Management Menu
You can manage your business from any Town Hall.
Available options include:
- Creating ranks, defining salaries (deducted from the company’s balance), and setting specific permissions for each rank
- Editing the company’s description
- Making transfers to individual bank accounts
- Viewing the list of all employees and terminating their employment
Permissions include:
- Transfers between company and personal garages
- Managing ranks and salaries
- Managing premises (stock and product pricing)
- Recruitment/Dismissal
- Access to the company garage
- Access to the company’s bank account
- Permission to use /adc on Twitter
- Access to creating files, lock/unlock functionality, and deletion in the company’s Files Manager
¶ 🏚️ Managing Premises
You can permanently purchase premises for your business by visiting a business location. (Note: You must be in business job mode to do this).
Benefits of owning permanent premises include:
- Ability to set up a stock of items/vehicles/etc.
- Set prices for each item in your shop
- The location is marked on the map for everyone
- The premises are accessible to any player, even in your absence
- Your employees can manage the premises with the appropriate permissions
¶ 🛢️ Managing Gas Stations
Go to the cash register:
- The “Manage Station” action allows you to set the price per gallon
- “Check Cash Register” lets you see the amount in the register
- “Withdraw Money” allows you to take money from the register
- “Close/Open Gas Station” lets you block or unblock pumps during your absence
¶ ⛽️ Refueling Gas Stations
To farm oil, follow this tutorial: HERE
After completing the tutorial, you should have crude oil barrels! Head to the refinery to convert them into refined oil.
Place the barrels near a tanker (truck or vehicle) and perform the “Load Oil into Tanker” action.
Hold TAB while looking at the vehicle and perform the “Check Tanker Contents” action to see the remaining gallons.
Note: You can also empty the contents using the “Empty Tank Contents” option.
Go to your gas station with the following equipment:
- Hose Adapter
- Hose
You can obtain these from the goods factory or a business.
Take the hose adapter in your hands, look at the red tanker outlet, and perform the “Connect Hose Adapter” action.
Now take the hose in your hands, hold TAB, and perform the “Deploy Hose” action.
Go to the end of the hose and perform the “Hold Hose” action.
Connect the hose to the tanker.
Repeat the process for the station storage adapter.
Then, turn the yellow nozzle in the opposite direction.
Fuel will start transferring into the station’s storage tank.
¶ 📁 Files Manager
The Files Manager is a feature introduced in October 2024. It allows you to consult procedures, create files/folders to generate reports, and store various procedures.
You can request to replace the top-left logo with your company’s logo! To do this, you must create a logo with a 128x128 size.
Features include:
- Create folders (reserved for users with “Files Manager” accreditation)
- Create files
- You can use Markdown for formatting (see the table below)
- Lock files to protect them from editing (reserved for users with “Files Manager” accreditation)
- Delete files/folders (reserved for users with “Files Manager” accreditation)
- Search for specific terms across all files/folders
For formatting in the Files Manager, you can use Markdown and BBCode. You can also combine all the codes listed below.
