¶ Opening an Account
Visit a bank to create a bank account.
You can purchase:
- A Checking Account
- A Savings Account
- 1% daily interest rate (credited daily at 1:00 AM)
- Limit of $75,000
- A Certificate of Deposit
- 3% daily interest rate (credited daily at 1:00 AM)
- Limit of $500,000
You can also order 3 types of credit cards:
- Classic
- Limit of $50,000/hour
- Fee of $25/hour
- Gold
- Limit of $350,000/hour
- Fee of $90/hour
- Platinum
- Unlimited limit
- Fee of $150/hour
When you purchase a card, you must LINK it to your checking account to use it.
¶ Bank Transfers
You can make transfers between players. To do this, you need to share your account number so your friends can make transfers to you.
To find this, open your checking account and retrieve your account number.
To make a transfer, go to your checking account and transfer money to a physical person (player) or a legal entity (business/service).
You can also transfer money between your personal accounts (checking, savings, certificate of deposit).
¶ Debts
If you make a purchase without sufficient funds (e.g., at a gas station) or commit a violation that incurs an automatic fine, the amount will accumulate as debt.
An attempt to deduct the owed amount will occur every 15 minutes if you have enough funds to repay the debt.
Conversely, if the state of Fishers Island owes you money but you do not have a bank account, the amount will be stored in your debt balance and will be credited to you when you create an account.
Note: If the state owes you money but you have outstanding debt, the state's payment will first be used to repay your debt. Any surplus will then be deposited into your bank account.
